eCow was honoured to be a part of the NFYFC AGM this year as a participant in the AGRI Forum 2014 which was focused on technology and how young farmers need to adapt for the future. Professor Toby Mottram provided an introduction to some of the technologies being developed in sensing for livestock, particularly dairy cow health monitoring.  Following his speech Professor Mottram took part in breakout sessions where YFC members were able to ask and challenge him on technology in livestock and how it will add to the data set available in particular in dairying.
